The rules we hold ourselves to.
Beat the simple thing first
Every model is compared with the simplest sensible alternative. If a seasonal average does as well as a deep network, you’ll get the seasonal average and a smaller bill.
Test the way it will be used
Time series need time aware validation. We backtest with rolling origins and strict cut offs, so the numbers you see are the numbers you’ll get in production.
Always show the error bars
Point estimates come with intervals, and intervals come with evidence that they’re calibrated. You decide with the full picture.
Same inputs, same answer
Data snapshots, code, configuration and random seeds are pinned together. Any figure in any report can be rebuilt exactly.
You own everything
The code, the models, the documentation and the infrastructure definitions are yours. No licence fees for our own work, and no lock in.
Bad news travels fast
If the data can’t support what you hoped, we’ll say so early and plainly, with evidence. It’s cheaper for you and better for everyone.
Security and data
Your data never needs to leave home.
We work inside your cloud account or on your own hardware, under your access controls. You can see who touched what, and when.
Least privilege
Named accounts, scoped permissions and access that ends when the work does.
